Lowest rate of salary increases since 2003. Almost half of ICT professionals in the Australian private sector did not receive a pay rise in the 12 months to May 2010, the Australian Computer Society has found. According to the society's 2010 Remuneration Survey, the global financial crisis brought about the lowest level of ICT salary increases since 2003. Private sector ICT professionals had an average salary increase of three percent, down from 3.9 percent the previous year.
